The apartment has undergone an extensive renovation, and boasts a new fully appointed kitchen and bathroom, new carpets, fresh paint, new heating/cooling and furnishings.

The apartment is light filled with lovely views out to the mountains.

The apartment is private and secure and includes 3 small bedrooms, with beautifully comfortable beds, crisp clean linens. Towels and soaps provided in the bathroom, and lovely open plan living spaces to relax.

The Space:
Guests enter the apartment into the open plan living space which includes a dining area with table for 4, lounge with 3 seater couch and separate arm chair, and a brand new kitchen with updated appliances, and a clever European style laundry in the pantry.

The area is flooded with natural light all day, and new sun-filter blinds have been installed on all windows. From the lounge you can enjoy the views of the mountains to the north-east.

The lounge includes a 40 inch smart tv, and free WiFi throughout the home. The apartment includes a new reverse cycle air conditioner to ensure guests are always comfortable.

There are two bedrooms off the main living area.
Bedroom 1 features a double bed, bedside table and lamp, block-out blinds and a built-in robe.
Bedroom 2 provides a single bed with additional trundle bed under, bedside table and lamp, and a desk and chair.
Bedroom 3 features a queen bed, bedside table with lamp, and a chest of drawers (this room is an internal room and does not have an external window).

A porta-cot with bedding is also available to cater for guests with young children.

The newly renovated bathroom is always squeaky clean, and includes toilet, vanity and modern tiled shower.

The apartment includes a grassed lawn surrounded by mature trees. A clothes line is provided and also an outdoor entertaining area with BBQ and seating to enjoy those warm summer evenings.

The Neighborhood:
Newstead is just minutes from the Launceston CBD, where you can discover many of Launceston's wonderful cafes, restaurants and attractions.
A 2 minute drive will also bring you to Arthur St, which boasts the beautiful Maple Cafe, hairdresser, beauty salon, as well as the award winning Alps and Amici Gourmet Providore. Relish cafe is just around the corner on Arthur St.

Getting Around:
We recommend a car to fully make the most of what Launceston has to offer, but there are always taxis and ubers available!

In addition, in the Launceston CBD, the free Tiger Bus is an option. See their website below for their routes and timetables:

Other Things to Note:
The apartment backs on to a commercial hairdressing salon that is presently open on Monday to Friday, including some evenings. Whilst the common walls have been sound/fire proofed, the sound of hair dryers, music and/or conversation may be faintly heard. The bedrooms do not share a common wall with the hair salon.

The dryer is located under the house. Feel free to use it during your stay!

Please note for longer stays, an additional fortnightly mid stay cleaning charge will apply to your stay.

QUARANTINE STAYS - Please advise if you are wanting to use this property for quarantine purposes. Extra charges apply. We will require your Covid19 tests during your stay. If you test positive whilst staying with us an additional charge of $300 will be payable for cleaning and linen costs.
