Dodges Ferry is a rural / residential beach-side town with a population of about 3000. Its located only 25 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from Sorrell and 35 minutes from Hobart. Dodges Ferry has many beautiful beaches, including the famous surf beach at Park & Carlton beach. There is a wonderful grocery store, welcoming cafes and pubs. It's possible that you will never want to leave the town! However, if you do, there are nearby wineries and quaint villages worth a visit.
