YES we are DOG FRIENDLY 🐶

We do have some rules set in place of course, however you will find they are very fair and reasonable.
We are a super easy walk to one of Tasmania’s best dog beaches, a 15-20 min walk through reserve at the back of our shack 👌
Our property is fully fenced and gated, we have a kennel for canine guests and yes, we do welcome well behaved pooches indoors on hard floor areas
Our guests need to agree to our dog policy 😊

When you stay with us at The Pier Shack you will immediately feel relaxed, the property is light & bright and has over the last few years undergone some amazing changes, yet has retained that beach Shack relaxed feel......a new kitchen, new bathrooms, both with large walk in showers, one with an extra deep "plunge" bath!

Pier Shack is comfortably furnished to give a relaxed coastal feel. You will find absolutely everything you require for a lovely break in your home away from home.

The kitchen is fully equipped, the living area is open plan with water views, has a large flat screen TV and comfy leather couch with day bed.

The living area opens out to two awesome outdoor living areas. One at the front of the beach house, a gorgeous sundeck with dining and plenty of comfy seating, views & sounds of the ocean.. and at the rear of the house, the perfect undercover BBQ area with another dining table (yes, we have 3 dining areas) this space is set amongst a beautiful private leafy area.

We provide you with a fantastic range of movies, books, games, toys etc.
All linen is provided, is of beautiful quality, is crisp & white!

Bedroom 1 has water view, is spacious, has a very comfortable Queen size bed,
a large open plan walk in robe which doubles as the perfect space for our port a cot, flat screen TV with built in DVD and a stunning full size bathroom as your ensuite...the main bedroom is a fantastic space where you feel like you’re in your own private space!

Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed, plenty of storage and lovely views out over the sun deck and across the bay and beyond.

Bedroom 3 is a great size room that perfectly sleeps 6 guests with two Double beds with Singles above combinations. There is also plenty of storage in this bedroom. This bedroom also has water view.

Our laundry is located adjacent to the rear outdoor area.

One of the absolute special and unique things about The Pier Shack is you are that close to the ocean, you can hear it! There truly is something about laying in bed listening to the sounds of the ocean....pure bliss

We offer 24 hour check in. When you stay with us you wont necessarily meet us (unless of course you would like to)

We respect your privacy and will make sure your stay with us is comfortable , relaxing and memorable. Access to the property is via a pin code which is provided to you a day or so before arrival.

We also have the option of being able to pop in a couple of extra Single “floor beds”
These are popular for larger groups , golfers or mountain bikers who prefer seperate sleeping arrangements.
A small extra charge is payable.
