Little Secret - Sanctuary by the beach

Summary:
For those seeking peace and tranquillity, Little Secret is your own private sanctuary tucked away from life's hustle and bustle at Clifton Beach. A wonderful haven, amongst nature, you can feel the ocean breeze from the southern ocean and enjoy the bird song while sipping on your morning coffee in your own private Aussie bush garden.
The cottage has been renovated using new and recycled materials, with some quirky features, which will bring back childhood memories and make you feel right at home. Fully equipped and insulated (warm in winter) and including a wood burner, you will have a wonderful stay.

The Space:
The cottage is over 2 levels, with living, dining, bathrooms and 1 queen bedroom (with ensuite) on the ground floor. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, one of which has 2 single beds and the other bedroom a queen bed. The kitchen is equipped for you to self cater and we suggest you stock up on some great Tasi produce on the way to the house from one of the local grocers at Lauderdale.
The living room adjoins a private garden with plenty of outdoor seating and BBQ area. It's a wonderful space where you can enjoy a good book while soaking up the sun.
We have also provided a number of board games for you to enjoy during your stay.

Guest Access:
Access to the property is off Bicheno Street. The house is set back from the road and offers full privacy for guests.

The Neighborhood:
Clifton Beach is a quiet beachside suburb located on Storm Bay and is a popular surfing location. The location has a number of coastal walks including the Cape Deslacs Circuit Walk, Clifton Beach to Mortimer Bay and the Tangara Trail. The beach itself is a lovely spot to walk or exercise. The town of Lauderdale is only around 10 minutes drive and offers a number of grocery stores, cafe's and restaurants.

Getting Around:
To fully explore the area, other than by foot, we recommend you have a vehicle. The house is only 28klms (about 30 mins) from Hobart City centre and 21klms (about 20 mins) to Hobart Airport.

Other Things to Note:
All linen, including towels, is provided by our linen service, so it's fresh crisp and clean !
There is separate, occupied residence on the property, however the location of it will not interfere with your privacy during your stay.
The property relies on water that falls from the sky and water deliveries when necessary so we ask please that you be careful of water consumption
The house is in a bush location, which is part of it's appeal, and you should therefore expect to see native animals, which we recommend you observe but not approach. Also, expect insects too, it's part of the experience!
If you require a porta cot this is available on request at the time of booking

Interaction with Guests:
Guests will be provided with check in instructions just prior to their stay. We leave guests to enjoy the house with privacy, however if you need us during your stay we are locals so are happy to assist in making your stay comfortable and trouble free.
