Fondly named Governors after a local East Coast surf break, is the front townhouse closest to the road – a stylish one bedroom base for convenient, comfortable living by the sea. Upstairs is a Queen bed with ocean views and an ensuite bathroom with deep bath and walk-in shower. Downstairs you have a full kitchen, dining area, leather lounge with Smart TV, washer, clothes airer and parking at your door. Complimented by your own outdoor fire pit, stay in or venture out!
Upstairs, you’ll find a Queen bed with ocean views and a deep bath, walk-in shower and toilet directly off the bedroom – perfect for a long soak after a day exploring the coast. Downstairs offers a full kitchen (cooktop, oven and mini-fridge), a dining area, and a lounge with a leather couch and Smart TV (stream with your own accounts). A washing machine and clothes airer are included for longer stays, and parking is right outside the door. Stay at Governors if you want an easy, low maintenance base in the heart of Bicheno... Park once, then wander to beaches, cafés, lookouts and the foreshore on foot.
For guests travelling with electric vehicles - Retreat 03 (Lennys) and Retreat 04 (Douglas) each have an EV charger available for use at $15 per day. Each townhouse is fully self-contained – your own kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom – with a private entrance, parking and firepit. Guests can gather outside, head into town together, then retreat to their own space at the end of the day.
Things to Note
Stairs: All retreats have internal stairs to access the bedroom and bathroom on the upper level.
Streaming: The Smart TV is set up for streaming – please bring your own logins for Netflix, Stan, etc.
Firepits: Each retreat has its own private wood-burning firepit outside. Usage may be subject to local fire restrictions, particularly in summer.
