On weekends and holidays, the town comes alive with the friendly presence of local shack owners, adding to the laid-back atmosphere.
With plenty of nearby beaches to explore, including the beautiful Weymouth beach and Pipers River, families can enjoy sheltered waters and sandy shores. Just a stone's throw away in Lulworth, you'll find two sandy havens—Lulworth and Fanny’s beach. Lulworth beach is perfect for soaking in the stunning views of Tam O’Shanter Bay or catching some waves; Fanny's beach is calm and sheltered. Nearby in Bellingham, adventure awaits at Miller's Beach, a hotspot for 4WDing, horseback riding and exploring the iconic sand dunes.
