Holland House is a comfortable, luxurious and honest beach house. A place to relax, read, listen to music.
And of course, to look at the sea. When was the last time you really noticed the world around you? You'll be inspired. The open plan living areas allow for million dollar views to the "Bay of Fires".
Just imagine yourself lazily on the large pillows. Doing nothing, simply feel and be mindful.
It's about simple life in a beautiful place. You'll see that beauty is everywhere.
Holland House is elevated above the land on slender steel columns as though it could be plucked from the site leaving no evidence of its existence. With respect to nature at this location: rugged terrain and beautiful climate.
Rainwater is collected and kept in a tank and reused. The slow combustion heater in the living area heats the whole house. And the floors and decks are all of recycled eucalyptus wandoo wood, which came from a Western Australian shearing shed.
Holland House consists of two bedrooms upstairs which both have a queen-sized bed with Tempur quality mattresses. A third small bedroom has a single bed of the same quality as our queen beds.
Your bed is comfortably made before your arrival. Linen is all white and very crisp.
The view from the master bedroom ocean side is breathtaking. If you like getting up early open your blinds and watch the sun rise. Welcome the start of each new day.
Our bathroom with double sinks and double shower with Vola fittings is upstairs as well as your Happy Cupboard with your bath towels and your beach towels. Shampoo, body wash and hand wash are upmarket brands e.g. Rituals.
Dining area is downstairs with the well equipped kitchen. The pantry is stocked with dry goods for your convenience. The expansive living area opens out to the decks. A second toilet is on the ground floor.
The Baby Weber BBQ is set up on the roadside deck. Luckily it has a lid so no possum can steal your food!
