We offer hands-on, artisan cooking classes from cheesemaking or sausage making to woodfired pizza or handmade pasta making, rustic sourdough and everything in between including cold processed soap making and kokodama making. We love shenanigans with our guests by enjoying a beer or local wine in our silo bar around the fire overlooking our spectactular gardens and views and sharing travel and life stories. We have a 12 seater tour bus ready to take you anywhere you want to go. We also specialise in small group functions from spit roasts to high tea long lunches. Neighbourhood information
We are central to everything in the north of Tassie. We're situated smack bang in the middle of the West Tamar wine route, 25mins from Launceston airport and about 35mins to Devonport ferry. Our property is nestled between two vineyards and within 2mins drive to a bunch of the best winemakers in the world (we can take you to all our favourites in our ForknTour bus), about 15mins to the beach, and far enough away from the neighbours that they'll not bother you either while you chillax. Exeter is the closest suburb that has a pub and bottleshop, takeaway, hairdresser, IGAs, post office, fuel, a bank and even a lollyshop.
