Summary:
Forty South Cottage is a comfortable, warm and cosy 2-bed newly renovated cottage in Lindisfarne with parking on the bank of the River Derwent. Suitable for two couples or a family, it has two queen-size bedrooms and spacious lounge and dining area. It features a fully equipped kitchen and spa. A laundry is available.
The cottage has free NBN WiFi and is a comfortable, private and convenient place to call home when visiting Hobart.

The Space:
It is very conveniently located. It's a three-minute walk to bus stops and shops, including a well-stocked local supermarket. A two-minute walk to the park. A six-minute drive to Blundstone Arena, an eight-minute drive to the city and Salamanca Market, and is twelve minutes from the airport.
Additionally for your leisure (and pleasure) we have some bicycles for your use. Although a safe neighbourhood on the water, just please note that use of the bicycles is at your own risk

Guest Access:
Guests have full use of the cottage for the duration of their stay, including an outdoor kitchen which is a lovely space in the warmer months

The Neighborhood:
The cottage is at the rear of a large block in a quiet, residential area, where you can walk the banks of the River Derwent on a fabulous walking track while enjoying spectacular views of Mt Wellington, or just relax in quiet luxury while you enjoy your Tasmanian holiday. There are several restaurants and take-aways within a two-minute drive.

Getting Around:
It's best to have a car when visiting Hobart; however if not, the cottage is conveniently located near major transport routes into the city, which is only a few kilometres away. Free parking is available in the laneway behind the cottage for two cars.

Other Things to Note:
Amenities: Free off-street parking for two cars with private entrance. Free NBN wireless Internet, iron, heating. Linen and towels are provided plus body wash, shampoo/conditioner and a hair dryer.

If you require a porta cot this is available on request at the time of booking

Kitchen: Refrigerator, crockery, cutlery, glassware, toaster, sandwich maker, kettle, microwave, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, electric oven, gas cooktop.

Interaction with Guests:
We leave guests in privacy to enjoy the cottage, however are available if needed.
