BIRDSONG @ BINALONG BAY Tranquillity on the Bay of Fires.

This lovely contemporary beach house adjoins Humbug Nature Reserve, with beautiful views of the forest to the South, the mountains of Pearson State Forest to the West, and the stunning beaches of the Bay of Fires to the North. The crisp white sand and crystal-clear waters of Binalong Bay are a short stroll away.

Birdsong is the perfect base to explore the area. Various trails through the nature reserve lead to numerous secluded bays - great for snorkelling and fishing – and lookouts providing sweeping views of the coast. There is easy access to the exciting new mountain bike trails of St. Helens and Blue Tier.

The Space:

Birdsong is nestled in a large private garden at the end of a quiet street. The house provides plenty of comfortable light filled living space, including large elevated lounge room, modern kitchen/dining area, two spacious bedrooms, and a small study with single bed.

The large living room is elevated, comfortable and has great mountain and bay views. The kitchen is open plan with the dining area and is well equipped for all your culinary needs. A bright study offers desk space and views over the garden and forest.

The three bedrooms are generous and enjoy lovely aspects. The main bedroom has mountain and filtered bay views, while the second bedroom looks out on the nature reserve. The third bedroom features a small study desk and a single bed. Most nights you will hear the waves from the bay and some nights the call of the boobook owls in the forest.

The modern bathroom has a separate shower, bath and vanity basin, with heated floor for chilly mornings. The toilet is separate. Laundry facilities include washing machine, outside line, and dryer.

There are two outside dining areas. The north facing front deck is directly outside the kitchen, sunny and convenient for meals any time of day. The expansive rear deck offers comfortable seating and Weber barbeque. With sweeping views, it is a great place to hang out in the late afternoon and enjoy the sunset over the mountains.

The large garden is in the process of rewilding. We are replanting large areas with native flora in the hope that this invites the local wildlife back in. Please enjoy the habitat we are creating and perhaps see the progress should your travels bring you back to Birdsong.
